The Show…
The Amazing Harmonatras and the Band of Bobs is a great family performance
and fun for all ages. The program begins on a high note with a fast paced
train song and continues at a break neck speed that will leave your audiences
breathless. The boys set the stage with a story of how they were forced
to leave their twenty-five twin brothers at home in dear old Ireland and
seek to fill their band with volunteers from the audience. With each new
musical number they add instruments and audience members to play them.
Instruments including a washtub bass, limberjack, banjo, dulcimer, chajchas,
gopichand, tiriandas, and esterilla are just a few of the fascinating,
easy to play instruments from around the world introduced by the boys.
The band increases in size to as many as thirty members as the show careens
to a huge crescendo. Tongue-in-cheek, non-stop humor, and an anything can
happen atmosphere make this show an incredible spectacle that keeps audiences
laughing from beginning to end and willing to come back for more.
